Dear Bruins,

Welcome (back) Bruins! It’s Fall Quarter and the beginning of a new year for both our new and returning Bruins, many of whom have not yet been to campus! We hope you are all doing as well as can be expected. This past year has been challenging, and we have all had to cope with unprecedented and difficult situations. Your resilience and spirit over the past year have been incredibly impressive, and I have seen this time and time again.

Although UCLA is mostly returning in person, there are still lots of things that are in flux and may change, and we don’t know what will happen in the coming months. But we have learned a lot in the past year, and I am confident that we will be able to adapt to and handle whatever this year throws at us.

The Center for Academic Advising in the College has also persevered, and remains committed to supporting students and your personal, professional, and intellectual growth and development.

  • Visit us online at REACH for quick questions or to schedule appointments with our academic advisors.
  • Send us a message via Message Center for non-urgent questions and to make appointments.
  • Follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Check out our website for current information.

Like you, we have been adapting to a COVID world, and appreciate your patience and understanding. We will continue to offer ways to connect with us virtually, and are working to offer in-person appointments as soon as possible.

We are inspired by your resilience and commitment to your education. Be kind and graceful to yourself and to others, and as Bruins, we will persevere and thrive.

Bruins Together,

Corey Hollis
