REACH Virtual Drop-In is only available to UCLA students and newly admitted students who have already attended a New Student Session or New Student Workshop. Prospective or newly admitted students should contact UCLA Undergraduate Admission directly with their questions.

Please read the following information before joining us in REACH.

Please note the following:

1. Please have a photo ID ready and available, as you may be asked to show this several times.
2. If you are in Honors, please see honors.ucla.edu to contact them for advising.
3. Before entering REACH, please indicate your College advising unit by including it in your Zoom screen name (i.e. AAP-Your Name” or “CAC-Your Name”).
4. If you change your ZOOM name after entering REACH, please notify a REACH staff member.
5. FERPA: we cannot ensure privacy on your side of Zoom.  Please ensure that you have privacy or grant permission for others in your vicinity to be present.
6. Photographing, screen capture, and other copying methods or recordings are prohibited without express permission from all participants.  If you would like to copy information or photograph the screen, please ask the REACH staff first.

To speak to someone in REACH, here is what will happen:

1. To join REACH, you will first be in the waiting room until we can accommodate you.  There will likely be other students waiting, whom you will not be able to see.
2. Once we have available staff, you will be admitted into REACH Main Room in the order in which you joined REACH. There may be other people present also waiting.
3. In order of admission, you will be invited into a private room to speak to a REACH staff member to determine how we can best support you. About 1 in 3 inquiries are resolved at this point.
4. If you need additional support, you will be invited into a RECEPTION ROOM to wait for the next available advisor or College Academic Mentor (CAM). There may be other people present also waiting.
5. Once an academic advisor or CAM is available, you will be invited into a private room to meet with the advisor or CAM.

DO NOT VISIT REACH WHILE DRIVING OR ATTENDING CLASS.
