ACE MENTORING

The ACE Mentoring Program was created to foster connections across UCLA campus colleagues and provide opportunities for professional growth through their roles as a mentor or mentee.  We are proud to partner with the UCLA Retirees Association, whose mentors are able to share their vast and rich experiences and institutional knowledge with current staff on campus.

The UCLA ACE Mentoring Program will provide current professionals with a space to:

  • Foster and enhance the personal and professional growth of its participants
  • Create and build a sense of community among on-campus professionals
  • Welcome and support both new and seasoned UCLA staff throughout their professional journeys
  • Cultivate connections and collaborations across campus

Join ACE Mentoring

The ACE Mentoring Program is open to all campus professionals, and applications are collected on an annual basis during the summer. The Mentoring Program sub-committee members review all applications and pair mentors and mentees based on factors such as, their career aspirations, personal and professional interests, and purpose for joining the program. All mentors and mentees are provided with resources after the pairing, including program guidelines, a partnership agreement, and suggestions for conversation topics or activities. The sub-committee also maintains communication with our participants through our monthly ACE Links newsletter, mid-year/end-of-the-year surveys, and event programming.

How to Apply
Application will be available in August.  If you have any questions, please contact

ACE Links Newsletter

The ACE Mentoring program is excited to present ACE Links—a quarterly newsletter to help participants stay connected with each other, ACE, and the greater UCLA community. Each issue of ACE Links will include a theme, self reflection questions, ideas for a mentor/mentee check in or activity, inspirational quote, calendar of events, and resources that we hope will support participants in your partnerships!

We invite you browse previous issues for additional inspiration!
