In-Person Window Hours
We are here to support you in-person at A-316 Murphy Hall, Window 2.
- Monday – Thursday, 10:00am-2:00pm Pacific and Friday, 10:30am-2:00pm Pacific (excluding university holidays)
Please note that the window is only available to provide information. Petitions and all other processes will continue to be conducted through our current online procedures.
REACH Virtual Drop-In
Please note that REACH is for quick advising questions or to schedule appointments with a College advisor.

Appointments
30-Minute Advising Appointments
Contact us through the CAC Message Center account to set up a 30-minute advising appointment (via Zoom or in person). Please be sure to include the following information in your request:
- Year in college (1st, 2nd, 3rd, new transfer, 4th)
- Gender pronouns
- A brief description of the main purpose for the appointment (e.g. major exploration, assistance with degree planning, academic difficulty, etc)
- Major(s)/minor(s) for which you wish to plan (e.g. Anthropology BA, Biology major & Disability Studies minor, or Statistics & Sociology double major). Please also note if you are pre-health/pre-med/pre-law.
- The 5 to 10 best times or time periods (e.g. Monday 2-3pm) for a 30 minute meeting in the next 5 business days, from 9am to 4pm.
- Whether you prefer in person or Zoom, or have no preference.
During times of limited availability, or when appropriate, in some circumstances students may be referred to REACH to address their questions.
Appointment information for scheduled appointments is always available on MyUCLA -> Academics -> Appointments
If you are not able to keep this appointment, please cancel this meeting on MyUCLA so that we may assist other students; multiple missed appointments may result in students not being able to schedule appointments in the future.
Advising Appointments via Zoom
Once your advising appointment has been scheduled, you will be emailed a link or sent a link through Message Center to join a Zoom meeting with a specific advisor. Please click the link in the email or message to join the appointment at your scheduled time. You will be required to show your Bruin ID or other photo identification at the start of the appointment. Please be patient if you join the Zoom meeting and your advisor is not yet available. Please do not join this meeting while driving.
Advising Appointments In Person
Once your advising appointment has been scheduled, you will receive an email confirmation. Please come to A-316 Murphy Hall at the time of your scheduled appointment. You will be required to show your Bruin ID or other photo identification at the start of the appointment. Please note that in case of illness or other emergency, this appointment may need to be rescheduled or converted into a Zoom meeting. If so, you will receive an email notification with the Zoom information.
Message Center
Message us with your questions through our CAC Message Center account . When we receive your questions we can determine if your question can best be addressed in REACH virtual drop in.
Please do not send multiple messages about the same request or question as this will impact our ability to respond in a timely manner.
Online Petition Submissions
Petitions are now submitted virtually though our website. You can currently upload Late/Retroactive Add Petitions, Restricted Late Drop Petitions, Impacted/Retroactive Drop Petitions, Grading Basis Change Petitions, Excess Units for the Quarter Petitions, and Transfer Course Credit Petitions through an online process. Please see our Study List Petitions page for more detailed information.
