We are very excited that you will be joining the UCLA community this coming academic year, and are committed to working with you to foster your development and help you thrive academically, personally, and professionally, here and beyond UCLA.  As a student within the College of Letters and Sciences, you will have academic advising/counseling support both from your department and from the College to ensure that your questions are answered and that you are on track towards graduation.

While we would love to meet with new students, please note that we are unable to provide advising/counseling until after a student has attended a New Student Session and has registered for fall courses. Nonetheless, please see below for information and resources that address some commonly asked questions/topics by newly admitted students.
